सोनीपत में रोहतक रोड स्थित झरोठी टोल प्लाजा के पास एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे में एसआई रामनिवास की मौत हो गई। वह ड्यूटी पूरी करने के बाद अपने घर लौट रहे थे, तभी उनकी वैगनआर कार एक ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली से टकरा गई।

55 वर्षीय एसआई रामनिवास, जो मूल रूप से झज्जर जिले के गांव पासौर के रहने वाले थे और फिलहाल सुभाष नगर, झज्जर में रह रहे थे, थाना सोनीपत सदर में इमरजेंसी रिस्पांस व्हीकल (ERV) पर तैनात थे। हादसा गुरुवार देर रात हुआ जब वह कार से ड्यूटी से लौट रहे थे। झरोठी टोल पार करते ही उनकी कार एक ट्रॉली से टकरा गई।

इस टक्कर में रामनिवास गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। उन्हें तुरंत खरखौदा के सरकारी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन हालत नाजुक होने के कारण उन्हें पीजीआई रोहतक रेफर कर दिया गया। परिजनों ने उन्हें रोहतक के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया, जहां उपचार के दौरान उनकी मृत्यु हो गई।

हादसे की जानकारी मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू कर दी है। इस दुखद खबर से पुलिस विभाग में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई। उनके साथियों ने बताया कि वह बेहद ईमानदार, कर्तव्यनिष्ठ और सहयोगी स्वभाव के व्यक्ति थे।

A tragic road accident claimed the life of Sub-Inspector (SI) Ramniwas near Jharothi Toll Plaza on Rohtak Road in Sonipat. He was returning home after completing his duty when his WagonR collided with a tractor-trolley, leading to fatal injuries.

SI Ramniwas (55), a resident of Subhash Nagar, Jhajjar, originally from village Pasour, was posted on the Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) at Sonipat Sadar Police Station. The incident occurred late Thursday night when he was driving home after his shift. As he crossed the Jharothi Toll Plaza, his car rammed into a tractor-trolley on the road.

He suffered critical injuries and was initially taken to Kharkhoda Government Hospital, from where he was referred to PGI Rohtak due to his worsening condition. His family later admitted him to a private hospital in Rohtak, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Upon receiving information, the police initiated an investigation. The news of his death sent a wave of sorrow throughout the police department. His colleagues described him as dedicated, honest, and always helpful in nature.
